Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager (RSM) South India with expertise in semiconductors and electronic components. This role is pivotal in driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and expanding market presence across OEMs, EMS providers, and distributors. The ideal candidate will have deep industry knowledge, a strategic mindset, and exceptional leadership skills to drive demand generation and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy & Business Development:
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market penetration goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including Purchase Heads, CEOs, CFOs, Supply Chain Heads, and R&D Managers.
- Lead demand generation efforts from scratch, including identifying potential customers, generating leads, and nurturing prospects.
- Drive customer acquisition and retention within the OEM, EMS, and distributor segments.
2. Client Relationship Management
- Cultivate long-term partnerships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Develop and implement account management strategies to grow key accounts
3. Market & Product Expertise
- Utilize strong knowledge of semiconductors, electronic components, and the electronics manufacturing process to identify opportunities and address customer pain points.
- Work closely with Supply Chain teams to manage Indian and international shipments, ensuring seamless operations and timely deliveries.
- Provide insights on market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to the product and leadership teams.
4. Data-Driven Sales & Reporting
- Leverage data analytics to identify sales opportunities, optimize pricing strategies, and drive customer engagement.
- Monitor sales performance, prepare detailed reports, and present actionable insights to senior management.
5. Team Collaboration & Coordination
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and product development, to drive regional growth.
- Participate in trade shows, industry events, and conferences to promote 1Buy.AIs offerings and expand the companys network.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum 812 years of experience in semiconductors and electronic components sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Prior experience working with OEMs, EMS providers, and distributors is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience with supply chain coordination for Indian and international shipments.
- Experience in demand and lead generation from scratch.
- Familiarity with SaaS platforms or data-driven tools is a strong advantage.
Industry Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of electronics manufacturing processes and industry supply chain dynamics.
- Ability to engage with technical teams, including R&D managers and engineering leads, to understand customer requirements.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders (e.g., CEOs, CFOs, Purchase Heads).
- Proficiency in CRM tools and data management platforms.
- Education:
- Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA is an added advantage.
