Regional Sales Manager - Retail - South

PURPOSE OF POSITION

The purpose of the position is to achieve the company's sales targets in a defined geography, typically a State or States.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

- Responsible for achievement of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual targets for Sales under the categories of Sell In, Sell Through and Activation.

- Planning actions and strategies towards increase of market share in the said geography, identifying new customer opportunities

- Work across product categories to maximize the market share across price bands

- Ensuring the right demand is input for all products and sell through and activation is in line with the demand placed (AP1 Forecast accuracy)

- Provide inputs & work closely with Marketing teams for promotions, roadshows, branding activities, schemes

- Ensure close coordination & synergies between National & regional teams to maximize sales

- Competition tracking to ensure the right interventions in the market

- Co-creates with the team local trade promotions by publishing, tracking, and evaluating trade spending

- Achieves regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans

- Should have good networking capabilities and be willing to travel extensively through out their specified region

- Communicating targets, planning, and reviewing targets at ZSM and ASM levels

- Works with partner management to evolve the region's distribution structure in the line with changing market dynamics.

- To achieve the deployed targets

- Ensure that the team follows the Ways of working as per guidelines.

- Enhance organization's presence through increased Width of Distribution.

- Ensure that the stock is as per the stipulated norms at all times at the distribution and retail point.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

- 12-17 years of prior experience relevant industry.

- Strong experience in Corporate Sales.

- Excellent Networking within the Industry.
