Job Title:

Regional Manager - Power Solutions Group (Delhi based)

Reporting to COO- Power Solution Group

Role Summary

Regional Manager - Power Solutions Group is a senior leadership role responsible for driving business growth, strategic sales, and market expansion of advanced power system analysis and simulation software (such as ETAP and PowerTech/PTW) across power development sectors. The role combines deep domain expertise in power systems with executive-level sales leadership, partner management, and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

- Define and execute regional and sector-specific sales strategies for power system software solutions.

- Align sales objectives with corporate growth plans and long-term digital power transformation goals.

- Act as a senior advisor to utilities, EPCs, IPPs, and government bodies on power system planning and reliability.

Sales & Business Development

Lead high-value enterprise sales of ETAP and PowerTech/PTW solutions for:

- Power generation (thermal, hydro, nuclear, renewables)

- Transmission & distribution utilities

- Smart grid and grid modernization projects

- Industrial power systems and infrastructure projects

- Manage end-to-end sales cycles, including solution positioning, technical-commercial proposals, negotiations, and closures.

- Drive new market entry and account expansion in power development and infrastructure sectors.

Client & Stakeholder Management

- Build and maintain C-level relationships with utilities, regulators, EPC firms, consultants, and system integrators.

- Represent the organization in technical forums, industry conferences, and regulatory discussions.

- Oversee key accounts and ensure long-term customer success, renewals, and upselling.

Technical & Solution Oversight

Provide strategic oversight on:

- Load flow, short-circuit, protection coordination

- Dynamic and transient stability studies

- Arc flash, reliability, and grid compliance studies

- Collaborate with pre-sales, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure solution accuracy and value alignment.

Team & Partner Management

- Mentor and lead sales, pre-sales, and business development teams.

- Manage alliances with OEMs, consultants, and channel partners.

- Build high-performance teams with strong technical-sales capabilities.

Revenue & Performance Management

- Own P&L targets, revenue forecasts, pipeline management, and strategic accounts.

- Track KPIs including deal conversion rates, average deal size, customer retention, and market share growth.

Required Experience & Qualifications

- 8+ years of experience in sales and business development of power system software solutions.

- Proven expertise in selling ETAP and PowerTech/PTW (Premtech) solutions to power sector clients.

Strong understanding of:

- Power system planning, protection, and grid operation

- Utility regulatory and compliance frameworks

- Experience working with utilities, EPCs, IPPs, regulators, and large industrial clients.

- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (Masters/MBA preferred).
