Our client is a prominent D2C brand in the Personal Care industry and they are looking to hire a Regional Sales Manager for their office in Bangalore. The role is to effectively manage the business in the concerned region and achieve the sales objectives. RESPONSIBILTIES: - To develop business in the region by planning, directing and implementing sales strategies and programs to achieve or exceed the sales objectives for the region. - Meeting the revenue and margin targets for the region by driving business development activities. - Achieving regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews - Set and monitor performance targets aligned with the business plan. - Analyse sales trends and implement corrective measures as needed. - Build and lead a strong sales infrastructure, including an active sales team and Area Sales Managers. - Appoint suitable channel partners, manage relationships, and provide information to distributors and customers. - Ensuring that distributors and customers in the region are provided with information about new or improved products and services in order to improve sales in the region. - Gain and update category and channel expertise-Continuously acquire knowledge regarding the industry, market construct, and customer behaviour to enable effective business plans. Acquire knowledge regarding competition product, strategies to counter attack competition in the best possible manner. - Coordinate with Supply Chain and Stock Control activities. - Establish an efficient distribution network, monitor commercial aspects, and ensure marketing support for brand visibility. REQUIREMENTS: - Experience in personal care space is preferred. FMCG experience required. - Specific knowledge of GT in beauty/ personal care will be better for quicker acclimatization. - Must have a good rapport with category buyers and ability to build distribution networks in new geographies/ consumer markets. - Ability to lead/ manage a team is necessary.
