We are looking for a highly motivated and result-oriented Regional Sales Manager to drive new client acquisition and unlock business growth opportunities in Southern India, with a core focus on the Bangalore region. This is a strategic individual contributor role within a large B2B logistics/heavy industry environment, aimed at acquiring new industrial, corporate, and enterprise clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, and ensuring timely payment collection from all newly onboarded accounts.
Key Responsibilities
New Client Acquisition: Identify, qualify, and close new B2B opportunities across industrial, infrastructure, logistics, and manufacturing sectors.
Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop tailored go-to-market strategies to target large enterprises and industrial clients in Southern India, especially Bangalore.
Full Sales Cycle Management: Drive the complete sales process - lead generation, proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.
Revenue Generation: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets focused on new business.
Collections Management: Ensure prompt payment collection and resolve any billing or payment-related issues with new clients.
Market & Industry Insights: Keep abreast of customer needs, market shifts, competitor activity, and regulatory changes in logistics/heavy industry.
Pipeline & Reporting: Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular updates on progress, forecasts, and challenges.
Required Skills & Experience
Total Experience: 8 - 12 years of B2B Sales experience, ideally in logistics, heavy industries, infrastructure, industrial goods, or enterprise services.
Regional Experience: Minimum 5 years of strong B2B sales experience in Bangalore and Southern India.
New Business Focus:
- Demonstrated success in hunting roles (client acquisition), not just account management.
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and solution-selling skills.
- Strong understanding of the complex B2B sales cycles, especially in industrial/logistics environments.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and drive performance in high-pressure situations.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
