KEY RESPONSIBILITY:
Business Development (Hunter Role):
- Identify and acquire new customers for Full Truck Load (FTL) road freight solutions across industries (e.g., automotive, FMCG, consumer durables, pharmaceuticals, chemicals).
- Map the region for potential leads, RFQs, and tenders using industry networks, competitor mapping, and databases.
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key regional clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Manage regular business reviews with clients to track service performance, discuss improvement areas, and explore upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop a regional sales strategy in line with national business plans for the FTL segment.
- Achieve assigned sales targets (revenue, volume, profitability).
- Lead tender responses, pricing negotiations, and contract closures for FTL business.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with the Pricing Team for competitive yet profitable rate proposals.
- Coordinate with Operations & Dispatch Teams to ensure smooth service execution for newly acquired clients.
REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCY:
- Strong hunter mindset with proven track record in new business acquisition.
- Knowledge of FTL operations, pricing structures, and compliance requirements.
- Established network in Western India industries (automotive clusters, FMCG hubs, pharma belts preferred).
- Hunter mindset aggressive prospecting and market penetration.
- Relationship-building skills with CXO-level decision-makers.
