Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Sales Manager East to lead our sales operations across the Eastern region of India, including West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, Assam, and the North-Eastern states. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical devices or diagnostic equipment sales and will be responsible for developing and executing regional strategies, managing the sales team, and expanding our market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets across the East region.
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with national objectives.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities in the region.
- Expand and manage distributor and dealer networks.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing regional sales team.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with healthcare professionals, hospitals, labs, and channel partners.
- Monitor market dynamics, competitor activity, and customer needs to refine sales approaches.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market insights to the National Sales Manager.
- Represent the company at medical exhibitions, trade shows, and regional promotional events.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Pharmacy, Biomedical, or a related field; MBA is preferred.
- 4-6 years of experience in medical device or diagnostic equipment sales, including 23 years in a managerial or team leadership role.
- Strong understanding of the Eastern Indian healthcare landscape.
- Proven track record in sales strategy, team management, and territory development.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region.
