Our client is a growing player in the Foods space headquartered in Pune.
Hiring Position: Regional Sales Manager (South)
Location: Bangalore
Reporting: VP (Sales and Marketing)
Channel: General Trade
Reporting Team: ASMs
Job Description
- Part of the sales leadership team, responsible for managing sales for the south zone
- Leads a team of ASM's and ASE's (area sales executives), deploys and monitors execution of sales strategy of the company in the region as per annual operating plan
- Drives volume, value and market share objective achievement in the assigned area
- Build Sales and Distribution (S&D) strategy for the region
- Drive distribution initiatives such as new outlets, reach out to rural areas, appointing new distributors, etc.
- Manage distributor size, scale and ROI. Implement channel financing plans for key distributors
Preferred Candidate:
- Person should have FMCG background ideally from Spices, Meal Solutions and Foods space
- Minimum 12-15-year experience in FMCG in GT Channel Sales.
- Should have experience of scaling new businesses and good awareness of how to set up distribution channels, appoint new distributors, set up S&D processes and recruit teams
- Graduate/MBA in Sales & marketing. Premium B School preferred.
