Regional Sales Manager - East - Consumer Durables/FMCG

KRAs :

- Deliver defined business numbers for Trade in a highly demanding environment with complete process adherence.

- Developing creative sales strategies with Channel partners to expand sales with continuous retail development, expand sales, market adaptation, enhance sales performance & achieve profits.

- Drive the sales channel to maintain 100% product line distribution across the channel.

- Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.

- Forecasting sales targets & executing it in a given time frame thereby accomplishing business objectives.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.

- Critically analyse the MIS reports & tweak the Channel to deliver expected business growth.

- Periodically analysing marketing effectiveness, amending/improving wherever necessary.

- Motivating, mentoring, guiding and monitoring the sales team within the set parameters.

Skills & Competencies :

- Proven work experience as a Regional Sales Manager with exposure in handling 2-3 states in the given geography.

- Experience in managing a high performance sales team.

- An ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics.

- Sound customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills.

- Strong communication and team management skills.

- Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude.

- Availability to travel.

- MBA from a reputed institute with experience of 12-15 years.

Reporting Structure :

- The position reports to the National Head Sales (General Trade).

- Reportees : Direct : Area Managers, Indirect : Sales Executive.

Industry Preferred :

- Only from Consumer Durable/ Lifestyle; FMCG.

Regional Requirement :

- Must be working in East or must have excellent exposure in Eastern Region in the past.
