We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Manager to drive and grow our brand partnerships in the West region, with a focus on the Mumbai market. This is a high-impact role for someone who can combine strong industry connects with a strategic mindset and a passion for the beauty & personal care (BPC) space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify, pitch, and onboard new FMCG brands (especially BPC) to join business discovery & sampling platform.
- Account Management: Manage key accounts, drive repeat business, and ensure long-term partnerships through regular engagement and value delivery.
- Client Solutioning: Work closely with brands to understand their marketing goals and tailor business solutions to drive awareness, trials, and conversion.
- Market Intelligence: Keep a pulse on BPC trends, competitive moves, and consumer behaviour to unlock strategic opportunities.
- Consumer Insights: Collaborate with internal research and product teams to provide actionable insights back to clients that strengthen their brand strategies.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Track performance metrics, maintain accurate sales forecasting, and deliver on monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
What Were Looking For:
- 6 to 7 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the FMCG or beauty & personal care industry.
- Strong network of brand-side marketers, especially in the Mumbai region
- A deep understanding of consumer marketing, sampling, and digital-first brand growth strategies.
- Analytical mindset with an ability to leverage data and insights for solution selling
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Comfortable with a remote work setup and occasional client meetings in Mumbai
- Passionate about working in a fast-paced startup environment
