Role Overview:
Regional Sales Manager - South, based in Bangalore,
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share within the South region.
- Manage and mentor a team of Area Sales Managers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to maximize their effectiveness.
- Identify and recruit new channel partners, while nurturing existing relationships to expand distribution reach and improve sales performance.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Prepare and manage the regional sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Analyze sales data and generate reports to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
- Ensure effective implementation of sales promotions and marketing campaigns to drive product awareness and increase sales volume.

- Proven expertise in managing and motivating sales teams to achieve and exceed targets.
- Strong understanding of channel management principles and experience in building and maintaining relationships with distributors and retailers.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of P&L management and financial principles.
- Experience in territory management and distribution network optimization.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 6-13 years of experience in sales, with a significant portion in a leadership role within the consumer durables or related industry.
