About the Role:
We are looking for a seasoned Regional Sales Head to lead the North India business for a leading food/FMCG organization.
The role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, market expansion, distribution, and overall business performance across Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Rajasthan.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the food/FMCG sector, with a proven track record of managing and scaling a 150 Cr+ business and building high-performing sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the overall regional business P&L / revenue responsibility across North India.
- Drive business growth across Delhi, UP, Uttarakhand and Rajasthan.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share objectives.
- Lead distribution expansion, channel development and market penetration across the region.
- Identify growth opportunities across existing and new markets and strengthen the company's presence.
- Monitor sales performance, market trends, competition and regional opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with distributors, key trade partners and other stakeholders.
- Ensure achievement of revenue, volume, distribution and profitability targets.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 12 - 18+ years of overall experience in Sales / Business Management within the Food / FMCG industry.
- Strong and recent experience in the food category / packaged foods / relevant FMCG categories.
- Must have significant experience managing North India markets, particularly Delhi, UP, UK, Rajasthan.
- Should have managed a business of 150 Cr+ in scale.
- Proven experience of significantly scaling a business, preferably having doubled the business size / revenue during their tenure.
