Job Title: Regional Sales Head
Location: North OR West OR South

We are seeking a high- performing Regional Sales Head with 10+ years of experience and a postgraduate degree (MBA/PGDM) from Tier 1 or Tier 2 institutes to lead and expand our sales operations across multiple states. This leadership role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record in driving revenue growth, managing distributor networks, and building high- performing sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive regional sales performance by implementing state- wise strategies and achieving volume/value targets.
- Lead new product launches and drive revenue from distribution expansion.
- Manage distributor relationships, oversee call cycles, and ensure effective execution of marketing & merchandising plans.
- Resolve distributor issues, manage credit/rebates, and gather market intelligence for competitor benchmarking.
- Recruit, coach, and mentor sales teams; identify training needs and support talent development.
- Ensure accurate sales planning, forecasting, and timely reviews in line with governance processes.
- Improve article- wise stock availability, reduce outstandings, and clear non- moving inventory.
- Drive retailer engagement, distributor quality, and compliance with key sales processes.
Requirements
- Education: Full- time MBA/PGDM from Tier 1 institutes (IIMs, XLRI, FMS, SPJIMR, MDI, etc.)
- Experience: 10- 15 years of proven experience in sales leadership roles in FMCG/Consumer Goods/Retail industries
- Strong understanding of distribution management, sales analytics, and team development
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel extensively across assigned regions
