Job Summary:


The Regional Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end operations across multiple locations within the assigned region. The role focuses on driving operational efficiency, ensuring supply chain effectiveness, maintaining high service levels, and achieving cost and performance targets. This position works closely with manufacturing, supply chain, sales, and finance teams to support business growth and operational excellence.


Key Roles & Responsibilities:


- Manage overall operations for the assigned region, including manufacturing, supply chain, warehousing, and distribution.


- Ensure smooth execution of production planning, inventory management, and logistics to meet service level targets.


- Drive S&OP alignment across demand planning, supply planning, and execution teams.


- Monitor and improve key operational KPIs such as service levels, inventory turns, cost efficiency, and productivity.


- Optimize working capital by controlling inventory levels without impacting customer service.


- Lead regional cost optimization initiatives across procurement, logistics, and operations.


- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, regulatory, and company policies across all regional operations.


- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support demand fulfillment and customer satisfaction.


- Manage and develop regional teams, driving performance, capability building, and engagement.


- Identify operational risks and implement mitigation plans to ensure business continuity.


- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using process excellence and best practices.


Key Skills & Competencies:


- Strong understanding of FMCG operations, supply chain, and distribution models.


- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.


- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.


- Ability to manage multiple locations and large teams.


- Experience working with ERP systems and operational dashboards.


- Result-oriented mindset with strong execution focus.


Required Experience & Qualifications


Education:


Graduate degree required; Engineering or MBA in Operations / Supply Chain preferred.


Experience:


- 8-12 years of overall experience in operations or supply chain within the FMCG industry.


- At least 35 years in a regional, multi-location operations leadership role.


- Proven experience in managing manufacturing plants, warehouses, or regional distribution operations.


- Exposure to S&OP, inventory management, logistics, and cost optimization initiatives.

- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-volume FMCG environments.


- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
