Regional Manager
About the Role
We are hiring an experienced Regional Manager to lead retail operations across Karnataka, driving top-line growth, operational excellence, and superior customer experience across multiple stores. The role will manage a team of Cluster Managers and will be accountable for P&L, store performance, and execution of merchandising and marketing initiatives for the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of Cluster Managers and store leadership to achieve sales, margin, and KPI targets across the region.
- Own P&L accountability for the Karnataka region; monitor sales, margins, shrinkage, and operating expenses.
- Drive operational excellence ensure compliance with store standards, visual merchandising, inventory controls, and SOPs.
- Implement local market strategies to maximize footfall, conversion, and average transaction value.
- Partner with merchandising, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure optimal assortment, stock availability, and timely promotions.
- Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing store and cluster leadership; run performance reviews and development plans.
- Analyze regional performance metrics and produce actionable plans to close gaps and scale best practices.
- Champion superior customer experience initiatives, mystery audits, and post-sales service standards.
- Ensure statutory & policy compliance across all stores in the region.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10 to 12 years of progressive retail experience with proven success in regional or multi-cluster leadership (apparel/fashion preferred).
- MBA or equivalent preferred; strong commercial acumen and P&L experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams (managers + store leaders), coach for performance, and execute change programs.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and reporting skills comfortable with sales dashboards and KPI tracking.
- Deep understanding of retail metrics: sell-through, stock turns, AOV, conversion, shrinkage, and productivity.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently across the region.
