Role Overview:
Our client, a prominent business conglomerate, is seeking an experienced Regional Manager - Machinery Division to manage and control all operational, aftermarket, and administrative activities of the Machinery Division branch within the assigned region, ensuring safe, compliant, and profitable operations with a strong focus on Service and Parts performance.
The role is responsible for executing divisional strategies at branch level while maintaining disciplined cost control, operational reliability, and customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Aftermarket Operations
- Manage branch Service and Parts operations to achieve productivity, quality, and profitability targets.
- Execute service and parts strategies defined by divisional leadership.
- Support growth in service and parts penetration across the installed base.
Financial & Cost Control
- Manage branch operational costs and support branch-level P&L performance.
- Ensure disciplined control of manpower, overtime, and operational expenses.
- Support AR and billing discipline through operational compliance.
Inventory & Assets
- Execute inventory control and planning directives.
- Ensure compliance with stock handling, storage, and audit procedures.
Safety, Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and Group QSE standards.
- Lead branch audit preparation and closure of audit findings.
Sales Coordination
- Coordinate with Regional Sales Managers to support operational aspects of major deals.
- Ensure operational commitments made to customers can be delivered.
People & Administration
- Lead and manage branch operational staff.
- Ensure effective branch administration and reporting.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 8-12 years' experience in the machinery, industrial equipment, or capital equipment sector.
- Proven experience in service and/or parts operations is essential.
- Experience managing branch or regional operations within a dealer or distributor environment.
- Prior exposure to ISO-certified environments and audit processes is required.
- Strong operational and aftermarket management capability

- Strong leadership and people management skills
