- Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies to drive significant growth in gold loan disbursements, customer acquisition, and overall profitability across all branches in the cluster.

- Set and monitor challenging yet achievable sales targets for each branch and for the cluster as a whole.

- Identify new market opportunities and implement initiatives to expand the customer base and market share.

Operational Excellence:

- Oversee the day-to-day business operations of all branches within the cluster, ensuring efficiency, adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), and optimal resource utilization.

- Ensure timely and accurate processing of gold loan applications, valuations, and disbursements.
- Implement best practices to streamline operations and enhance productivity.

Compliance & Risk Management:

- Ensure strict compliance with all internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and legal frameworks related to gold loan operations (e.g., RBI norms).

- Monitor and mitigate operational and credit risks associated with gold loans within the cluster.
- Conduct regular audits and checks to ensure adherence to compliance standards.

Team Management & Development:

- Lead, mentor, and motivate a large team of branch managers and over 50+ staff members across multiple branches.

- Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify training and development needs for team members.

- Foster a high-performance culture, promoting teamwork, accountability, and customer focus.

- Handle recruitment, onboarding, and retention of talent within the cluster.

Customer Experience Enhancement:

- Champion a customer-centric approach across all branches, ensuring excellent service delivery and high levels of customer satisfaction.

- Address customer grievances and feedback effectively and promptly.

- Implement initiatives to improve the overall customer journey.

Stakeholder Management:

- Act as the primary point of contact for the cluster, liaising with senior management, regional teams, and other internal departments.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities and community leaders.

Reporting & Analysis:

- Prepare and present regular performance reports, analyzing key metrics, trends, and identifying areas for improvement.

- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.

Skills & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the Gold Loan industry, with a proven track record in a leadership role overseeing multiple branches.

Multiple Branch Handling: Demonstrated ability to effectively manage business operations and teams across multiple branches. Experience handling a minimum of 50+ staff members across a distributed network.

Regional Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the North Kerala region (Kasargode to Ernakulam) market dynamics, customer behavior, and competitive landscape in the gold loan segment is highly desirable.

Leadership & Management: Strong leadership, team management, and motivational skills with the ability to inspire and develop a large workforce.

Business Acumen: Excellent business acumen, with a strong understanding of sales, marketing, operations, and financial principles.

Compliance Knowledge: Thorough understanding of gold loan regulations, compliance requirements, and risk management practices.

Communication: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Travel: Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the North Kerala region is mandatory.

Education: Master's Degree is mandatory.
