About the Opportunity

A leading Consumer Durables/FMCD organization is looking to strengthen its Regional Logistics function by hiring experienced professionals to manage end-to-end logistics operations across assigned regions. The role is responsible for ensuring efficient transportation, warehouse coordination, distribution planning, cost optimization, and service excellence while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. This opportunity is ideal for logistics professionals who have built strong operational expertise in regional supply chain management and are looking to take on a larger leadership role within a fast-paced organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end regional logistics operations, ensuring timely movement of finished goods across the distribution network.

- Oversee transportation planning, route optimization, fleet utilization, and delivery performance to achieve service level targets.

- Coordinate with warehouses, carrying & forwarding agents, transporters, and distribution partners to ensure seamless operations.

- Drive logistics cost optimization initiatives without compromising customer service and operational efficiency.

- Monitor logistics KPIs including OTIF, freight costs, vehicle utilization, transit time, and delivery performance.

- Ensure optimum inventory movement between manufacturing plants, warehouses, depots, and distributors.

- Lead transporter management, vendor negotiations, performance reviews, and contract compliance.

- Collaborate closely with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Sales, Customer Service, and Procurement teams to support business requirements.

- Drive process improvements, digital initiatives, and logistics best practices across the region.

- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, safety standards, and company logistics policies.

- Lead and mentor regional logistics teams while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Ideal Candidate

- 8-12 years of experience in Logistics, Transportation, Distribution, or Supply Chain Operations.

- Experience managing regional logistics operations within Consumer Durables, FMCD, FMCG, Electricals, Consumer Electronics, Manufacturing, or Retail organizations.

- Strong understanding of transportation management, warehouse coordination, freight optimization, distribution networks, and third-party logistics.

- Experience in managing transport vendors, C&F operations, and logistics service providers.

- Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Warehouse/Transport Management Systems will be an advantage.

- Strong analytical, leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
