Regional Logistics Manager

Description:

Reporting to the Senior Logistics Manager, this role will support the development and execution of regional logistics and transportation strategies. The position focuses on driving operational excellence through standardized processes, productivity improvement initiatives, data-driven decision-making, and strong collaboration with internal stakeholders and external logistics partners.

Key Responsibilities:

- Partner with the Senior Logistics Manager to implement regional transportation strategies using a global transportation management system

- Communicate, train, and support local operations teams on global logistics data standards, systems, and processes

- Develop and execute the Annual Operating Logistics Plan in alignment with business objectives

- Lead logistics efficiency and productivity improvement initiatives to deliver measurable cost and service improvements

- Develop and implement regional ground transportation and customs brokerage strategies in line with global logistics standards

- Own regional competitive bidding and rate optimization initiatives for ground transportation

- Serve as the primary escalation point for ongoing logistics service provider performance or operational issues

- Lead logistics training, capability development, and knowledge-sharing initiatives across the region

- Conduct regional operational reviews with a focus on continuous improvement and relationship management

- Drive data analytics and reporting to enable operational performance tracking and continuous improvement

- Collaborate closely with regional operations leaders to identify mode-specific cost-saving opportunities and implement sustainable supply chain solutions

- Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills to navigate ambiguity and deliver effective logistics solutions

Required Education, Experience & Skills:

- Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, Transportation, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

- 7+ years of experience in logistics or transportation management

- Proven ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with global and regional logistics service providers

- Demonstrated success in driving operational change within cross-functional, team-based

environments

- Ability to engage and communicate effectively across all levels of management and external partners

- Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills; fluency in English is required

- Strong root-cause analysis mindset with a focus on issue resolution and continuous improvement

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project

- Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities

- Willingness to travel regionally and internationally (approximately 30%)

- Ability to travel to international business locations as required
