Regional Logistics Head - FMCG

The Regional Logistics Head will be responsible for end-to-end logistics and distribution operations across the assigned region for FMCG products. The role will drive service level excellence, cost optimization, network efficiency, and compliance while managing warehouses, transportation, and distributor logistics to support sales growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own and manage regional logistics operations including warehousing, transportation, secondary distribution and last-mile delivery

- Ensure high service levels (OTIF, fill rate, TAT) across distributors, modern trade, and GT channels

- Optimize logistics cost through route optimization, fleet productivity, vendor negotiations and process improvements

- Lead warehouse operations including capacity planning, inventory control, FIFO/FEFO adherence and loss prevention

- Drive implementation and adherence to SOPs, compliance, safety and statutory norms

- Manage and develop regional logistics team including warehouse managers and transport partners

- Coordinate closely with Sales, Supply Planning, Manufacturing and Customer Service teams

- Monitor KPIs, dashboards and review performance regularly with corrective action plans

- Handle logistics contracts, transporters, 3PL partners and SLA management

- Lead continuous improvement initiatives including automation, digitization and process standardization
