Job Title: Regional Key Account Manager (MT) - South India Location: Bangalore Department: Sales Reports to: Head Modern Trade/NKAM Role Objective: To manage and grow key modern trade and e-commerce accounts in the South India region, ensuring strong relationships, achieving sales targets, and enhancing brand presence at store level. Key Responsibilities: Account Management: - Own and manage relationships with key modern trade retailers and e-commerce platforms (e.g., Reliance, DMart, Amazon, Flipkart) across South India. - Develop Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and negotiate annual terms, product placements, schemes, and visibility. Sales & Target Achievement: - Drive primary and secondary sales growth through strategic planning and execution. - Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned region. Execution & Merchandising: - Ensure in-store visibility, planogram compliance, and timely execution of marketing and trade initiatives. - Regularly visit stores and gather market intelligence. Cross-Functional Coordination: - Work closely with Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing teams to ensure smooth operations and execution of account-specific promotions. Data Analysis & Reporting: - Analyze sales data, track performance vs targets, and provide insights for improvement. - Share weekly/monthly reports with key stakeholders. Key Requirements: - Experience: 5-8 years in Key Account Management in FMCG, preferably with exposure to South India markets. Education: Graduate in any discipline; MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred. Skills: - Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills - Knowledge of modern trade dynamics and retailer operations - Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel and reporting tools - Willingness to travel extensively within the region Preferred Languages: - Proficiency in English and at least one South Indian language (Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, or Malayalam) is a plus
