Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to drive the growth and operational excellence of our wealth management business for a key region. As the Regional Head, you will be responsible for spearheading business development, building a high-performing team, and ensuring superior client portfolio management. This is a pivotal role for an individual passionate about wealth management, leadership, and achieving ambitious business results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Growth & Strategy: Develop and execute the regional business plan to achieve AUM, revenue, and market share targets. Drive product adoption, optimize distribution channels, and implement effective sales strategies.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Cluster Heads and Relationship Managers (direct team of 7-14). Foster a high-performance culture, ensure talent development, and manage succession planning.
- Portfolio & Client Management: Oversee portfolio performance, modeling, and analytics for high-net-worth clients. Ensure client retention, satisfaction, and deepening of relationships.
- Risk & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory guidelines, internal policies, and risk management frameworks within the region's operations.
- Operational Excellence: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze MIS for insights, control acquisition costs, and implement process improvements for efficiency.
Desired Qualifications & Competencies:
- Experience: 7-12 years of progressive experience in wealth management, private banking, or financial services, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role managing multiple teams.
- Education: Postgraduate/graduate degree in any discipline. Additional certifications (e.g., CFP, CFA, MBA) are a plus.
- Leadership Competencies: Proven ability in ownership, strategic thinking, customer focus, talent development, and driving results. Must be decisive, resilient, and collaborative.
- Functional Competencies: Deep understanding of wealth products, portfolio management, risk compliance, sales analytics, and distribution channel management.
