Role Summary:
We are seeking a high-caliber Regional Head to lead and scale our Wealth Management business across the West Bengal zone. In this senior leadership capacity, you will act as a "Zonal Growth Architect," responsible for the end-to-end profitability, revenue generation, and AUM expansion of the region. You will lead a multi-tier hierarchy of Branch Heads and Relationship Managers, driving product penetration in PMS, AIFs, Mutual Funds, and Structured Products. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with a deep-rooted understanding of the regional HNI/UHNI ecosystem, possessing a "Service-First" mindset to build a next-generation wealth platform through transparency, ethics, and technological integration.
Responsibilities:
- Zonal Business Ownership: Own the P&L for the West Bengal region, driving strategy for revenue growth, high-velocity client acquisition, and long-term profitability.
- AUM & Asset Allocation: Oversee the growth of Assets Under Management (AUM) by ensuring optimized portfolio construction across Equity, Fixed Income, and Alternate Investment Funds (AIF).
- Leadership & Talent Cultivation: Lead, mentor, and coach Branch Heads and Relationship Managers, focusing on "Next-Generation Leadership" development and high-performance team culture.
- Strategic HNI Engagement: Personally manage and deepen relationships with UHNIs and "Large-Ticket" clients, acting as the final point of contact for complex deal closures.
- Regional Expansion: Identify and execute strategic expansion opportunities, including new branch openings and the identification of untapped wealth pockets within the zone.
- Product Penetration Strategy: Drive sales and advisory excellence across a diverse product suite, including Mutual Funds, PMS, Structured Products, Bonds, and Insurance.
- Market Intelligence & Trend Analysis: Track macroeconomic shifts, competitor strategies, and evolving client needs to pivot regional strategies proactively.
- Risk & Regulatory Governance: Enforce strict adherence to SEBI, RBI, and internal compliance guidelines, ensuring a zero-tolerance policy for ethical breaches.
- Tech-Driven Advisory: Leverage CRM and advanced wealth-tech tools to monitor sales funnels, track MIS, and provide data-driven insights to the national leadership team.
Technical Requirements:
- Senior Leadership Expertise: 12+ years in Wealth Management or Private Banking, with at least 5 years in a Zonal or Regional leadership role.
- Product Depth: Expert-level knowledge of Alternate Investment Funds (AIF), Portfolio Management Services (PMS), and complex Structured Products.
- Regional Market Knowledge: Deep established network and understanding of the West Bengal business landscape and client psychology.
- Financial Literacy: Strong ability to interpret complex financial markets and translate them into "jargon-free" client advice.
