Position Title : Regional Head - Europe & CIS

Reporting To : Global Sales Head

Function : Sales

Location : Thane

Job Purpose :

- Drive business growth and expand market presence across Europe and CIS regions.


- Establish and nurture long-term, sustainable partnerships with customers and stakeholders to support strategic growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

Order Booking :

- Achieve defined order booking targets across product categories such as light engineering components, precision machined parts, industrial enclosures, cable management solutions, and safety equipment.

- Develop regional and product-wise targets and budgets.

- Support the team in techno-commercial negotiations for large and strategic deals, including direct customer engagement.

- Finalize annual contracts with customers.

- Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory and legal requirements related to customer orders.

Sales Management :

- Deliver budgeted sales performance through strong alignment with operations and supply chain functions.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts through regular engagement.

- Prepare and present reports for internal reviews.

- Develop long-term plans and conduct market sizing assessments.

Business Development :

- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline by identifying and onboarding new customers.

- Engage with prospective clients and convert opportunities into business wins.

- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and provide inputs for new product development.

- Negotiate and finalize business agreements, including distributor contracts and targets.

- Drive strategic initiatives for sustainable and profitable growth.

- Promote products and brand through exhibitions, digital platforms, and industry events.

Profitability Management :

- Ensure adherence to pricing policies to maintain target margins.

- Implement timely price revisions to safeguard profitability.

- Monitor and control discounting through appropriate approvals.

- Drive focus on high-margin products and profitable deal closures.

Working Capital Management :

- Ensure timely collection of receivables through regular reviews with the sales team.

- Minimize risk of bad debts and ensure secure payment terms.

- Collaborate with operations to optimize inventory levels.

People Management :

- Identify capability gaps and implement training and development plans.

- Coach, mentor, and motivate team members to enhance engagement and performance.

- Provide support in resolving team challenges and driving a high-performance culture.

Qualifications & Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; MBA preferred.

- 12-15 years of experience in sales, preferably in international markets.

Skills & Competencies :

- Strong expertise in international sales and export processes.

- Experience working with OEMs and managing channel partners.

- Key account management and business development capabilities.

- Strong negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Financial acumen and understanding of industrial/electrical markets.

- Ability to engage with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Core Competencies :

Additional Requirements :

- Extensive travel across Europe and CIS regions.

- Experience working with industrial customers, distributors, and channel partners in international markets.

- Prior experience in selling engineered or build-to-print products in European markets is preferred.
