Job Title: Regional Head Core Retail Sales (NCR)
Location: Bangalore
Reports To: National Sales Director
Age Limit: Up to 42 years
Education: MBA from Tier 1 or Tier 2 Institutes (IIMs, ISB, XLRI, SPJIMR, MDI, FMS, NMIMS, etc.)
Job Summary:
- The Regional Head Core Retail Sales (Delhi NCR) will be responsible for driving SME sales across managing the entire NCR regions revenue, P&L, team leadership, and strategic growth.
- This role demands strong business acumen, deep customer understanding, and the ability to lead high-performing sales teams.
- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SME / mid-market / core retail sales, with a proven track record of scaling revenue and delivering results in competitive markets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. SME Sales & Account Leadership
- Own and deliver revenue, profitability, and growth for the North region
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Drive acquisition, expansion, and retention of SME customers across sectors.
- Identify new business opportunities and enable systematic cross-sell and up-sell.
2. Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain deep client relationships with SME and mid-market customers.
- Ensure customer satisfaction, service quality, and repeat business.
- Act as the escalation point to resolve key client issues promptly and effectively.
3. Team Leadership
- Lead and manage a team of ZBHs / Area Sales Leaders across North India.
- Set clear performance KPIs and track delivery of monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Coach, mentor, and motivate teams to ensure high productivity and ownership.
- Foster a culture of accountability, customer focus, and execution excellence.
4. Sales Enablement & Execution
- Work closely with Marketing, Product, Finance, and Operations to deliver differentiated SME solutions.
- Conduct periodic business reviews with internal leadership and regional teams.
- Monitor pipeline health, forecasts, and CRM hygiene to ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Drive rigorous execution of sales processes, proposal management, and deal closures.
5. Market Intelligence & Insights
- Track competitor activities, market movements, pricing trends, and customer behavior.
- Share insights with product/leadership teams to support innovation and solution building.
- Identify high-potential markets, customer segments, and growth pockets within the North.
Qualifications:
- MBA from Tier 1 or Tier 2 institute (mandatory).
- 12-15 years of experience in SME / B2B / Retail Sales.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing large regional teams.
- Strong proven experience in achieving revenue targets and managing P&L at regional scale.
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
