We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Regional Head - Retail Banking to lead the entire retail banking operations across a designated region.

This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving the profitability, growth, and overall performance of the retail business, encompassing multiple clusters and branches.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience in retail banking leadership at a regional level, possessing exceptional strategic acumen and team leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Regional P&L Ownership: Take full responsibility for the profitability and financial performance of the entire retail banking business within the allocated region, consistently achieving or exceeding targets set by the Bank.

- Strategic Growth Initiatives: Strategize, develop, and execute comprehensive actions for significant balance sheet growth, aggressive retail customer acquisition, and overall business expansion across the region.

- Leadership & Team Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team comprising Cluster Heads and Managers, fostering a culture of excellence, sales effectiveness, customer-centricity, and continuous professional development.

- Market Penetration: Identify and capitalize on regional market opportunities, develop localized strategies to increase market share, and enhance the bank's brand presence.

- Operational Excellence: Ensure consistent operational efficiency, strict adherence to banking regulations, and delivery of superior customer service standards across all branches within the region.

- Performance Management: Implement robust performance management frameworks, conduct regular reviews, and provide constructive feedback to drive individual and team performance.

- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other regional heads, product teams, marketing, and support functions to ensure seamless execution of strategies and initiatives.

- Risk & Compliance Management: Oversee and ensure strict adherence to all banking policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements across the entire retail banking operation in the region.

Required Candidate Profile:

Experience:

- Extensive experience in Retail Banking at a Leadership role.

- Prefer candidates who have handled Regional level roles or are currently serving as a Cluster Head with a proven track record of managing large-scale retail banking operations.

Age: Preferred age up to 48 years.

- Leadership Acumen: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage large, diverse teams across a broad geographical area.

- Strategic Thinking: Exceptional strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.

- Business Development: Strong business development capabilities with a focus on driving sales, customer acquisition, and balance sheet growth.

- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

- Financial Literacy: Strong understanding of financial statements, P&L management, and key banking metrics
