Regional Head - Mumbai

Role Overview:

As the Regional Head, you will spearhead the sales operations and overall business development for our Personal Care products across the Mumbai region. This pivotal role involves leading a large sales team, managing distributor networks, and driving market share growth within the General Trade channel. You will collaborate closely with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of regional strategies and achievement of revenue targets. Your leadership will directly impact our brand presence, customer satisfaction, and profitability in this key market.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets and market share objectives within the General Trade channel.

- Lead, mentor, and motivate a large sales team, including Area Sales Managers and Sales Officers, to maximize their performance and professional development.

- Manage and optimize the distributor network to ensure efficient product distribution, inventory management, and market coverage across the Mumbai region.

- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and develop innovative sales initiatives.

- Collaborate with marketing and trade marketing teams to execute promotional campaigns and trade activities that enhance brand visibility and drive sales.

- Oversee the regional budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers and stakeholders to enhance brand loyalty and secure shelf space.

- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies within the FMCG sector, specifically in the General Trade channel.

- Proven leadership skills with the capacity to manage, motivate, and develop high-performing sales teams.

- Strong understanding of distributor management, including appointment, performance evaluation, and relationship building.

- Excellent analytical skills to interpret sales data, identify market trends, and make data-driven decisions.
