About the Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated, target-driven, and strategically oriented Regional Sales Leader (Regional Head / Regional Sales Manager / Senior Manager) to manage and grow our business in the assigned region.
This role involves driving revenue, managing key enterprise accounts, leading sales teams, building strong partner ecosystems, and expanding organisations's presence across industries. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in IT Sales, Cloud Infra Solutions, Solution Selling, and Enterprise Account Management.
You will play a crucial role in regional PCL contribution and will closely collaborate with the VP Sales and senior leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Regional Sales Strategy & Growth:
- Drive regional sales plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets through consistent pipeline creation.
- Expand Cloud Infra, IT Services, and Technology Solutions business across industries.
- Identify new market opportunities, enterprise accounts, and target segments.
- Contribute to building long-term regional growth strategies.
- Build regional presence through partner networks, OEM engagement, and customer events.
2. Sales Execution & Operations:
- Manage end-to-end sales cycles including discovery, solution positioning, proposals, negotiations, and closures.
- Track sales performance, review pipeline health, and ensure operational discipline.
- Work closely with Pre-Sales, Delivery, Finance, and Operations teams for smooth execution.
- Lead customer presentations, demos, and large account engagements.
- Monitor competitor movement and provide market intelligence to leadership.
3. Team Leadership & Productivity:
- Manage and mentor a high-performing regional sales team (where applicable).
- Recruit, train, and guide sales professionals to achieve targets.
- Define KPIs and monitor individual/team performance.
- Drive a culture of accountability, customer focus, and continuous skill development.
- Encourage collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Stay updated on Microsoft product updates, licensing models, and competitive landscape.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals and documentation for decision-makers.
4. Customer Engagement & Relationship Management:
- Build strong relationships with CXOs, IT heads, enterprise decision-makers, and key stakeholders.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.
- Act as a trusted regional advisor to clients, offering consultative guidance and value-added insights.
- Manage escalations effectively to maintain positive customer experience.
5. Reporting & Governance:
- Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and MIS updates as per organizational cadence.
- Ensure compliance with sales processes, pricing approvals, and internal controls.
- Participate in reviews with MD and contribute to strategic discussions.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong expertise in IT Sales, Cloud Solutions, Enterprise Technology Sales, and Solution Selling.
- Proven ability to achieve revenue targets and manage multi-crore sales portfolios.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage complex enterprise sales cycles and closure of large deals.
- Analytical, data-driven mindset with strong planning and execution capability.
- High ownership, entrepreneurial approach, and ability to thrive in a high-growth environment.
- Experience working with OEMs, distributors, system integrators, and channel partners.
Experience Requirements:
- 10-15 years of experience in IT Sales, including enterprise accounts, cloud infra, managed services, and solutions.
- Experience in leading regional teams (preferred for Regional Head roles).
- Proven track record in new customer acquisitions and handling high-value accounts.
- Prior experience in high-growth environments or IT solution providers is preferred.
