Location: Hyderabad

Experience Required: 10 - 15 Years

Role Overview:

StaffAnchor is hiring a Regional Sales Head for a fast-growing EdTech client. This leadership role is responsible for owning regional P&L, scaling revenue across multiple learning products, and building strong, outcome-driven sales teams across cities within the assigned geography.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in B2C sales leadership, excels in managing large teams, and thrives in a high-growth, target-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Ownership & Business Expansion

- Drive end-to-end regional revenue across online, hybrid, classroom, and test-prep programs.

- Translate national business objectives into region-specific sales and growth strategies.

- Track and analyze performance metrics including leads, conversions, revenue, ARPU, and productivity.

- Identify white spaces for market penetration, new centers, and city-level expansion.

Sales Leadership & Team Development

- Lead and manage Regional Managers, City Heads, Branch Managers, and large inside sales teams.

- Build strong talent pipelines through structured hiring, onboarding, and continuous training.

- Establish clear KPIs, conduct regular business reviews, and reinforce a results-driven culture.

- Step in for critical escalations and support closure of high-ticket and strategic deals.

Sales Operations & Execution

- Ensure effective execution of sales processes, enrollments, and post-sales handoffs.

- Partner closely with operations, finance, onboarding, and academic teams to deliver a seamless learner experience.

- Ensure adherence to pricing frameworks, discount approvals, and internal compliance standards.

Marketing Alignment & Lead Conversion

- Collaborate with marketing teams on regional campaigns, offline events, school/college tie-ups, and local activations.

- Improve lead quality, conversion rates, and follow-up discipline across teams.

- Measure and optimize the ROI of regional marketing spends and initiatives.

Stakeholder Management & Market Intelligence

- Serve as the regional SPOC for leadership and internal stakeholders.

- Share insights on competition, customer behavior, pricing trends, and regional dynamics.

- Ensure strong brand visibility and customer satisfaction across Hyderabad and surrounding markets.

Skills & Competencies

- Proven people leadership with experience managing large, multi-layered sales teams.

- Strong exposure to EdTech or B2C inside + offline sales models.

- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.

- Highly data-oriented, with the ability to translate insights into action.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

Experience & Eligibility

- 10 - 15 years of experience in sales or business leadership roles.

- At least 3 - 5 years managing regional or multi-city teams.

- Background in EdTech, Education, BFSI, Telecom, or Consumer Internet is preferred.

- Proven track record of consistently delivering large-scale revenue targets.
