We are hiring for a rapidly scaling, PE-backed consumer organisation with a strong footprint across South India. The company operates across LED lighting, fans, switchgear, residential wires, and broader electrical categories, and is now strengthening leadership in key markets.

Role Overview:

The Branch Head Chennai will own revenue, operations, and channel expansion for one of the organisations most strategic South Indian markets. The mandate includes driving growth across consumer electrical categories, managing key distributors/retail networks, and leading a high-performing local sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead branch P&L, revenue delivery, and sales planning for Chennai & surrounding markets.

- Expand distribution across General Trade, Modern Retail, and Institutional channels.

- Strengthen category penetration across LED, fans, switchgear, and other electrical categories.

- Build, lead, and mentor the Chennai sales team with strong performance discipline.

- Develop deep relationships with distributors, retailers, electricians, and channel partners.

- Drive execution of trade schemes, pricing, merchandising, and in-store visibility.

- Collaborate with regional leadership on forecasting, inventory planning, and GTM execution.

- Track competition and deploy proactive measures to protect market share.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- 10 to 15 years in consumer durables, electrical, lighting, appliances, or FMCG-electricals.

- Strong exposure to Tamil Nadu markets, especially Chennai distribution.

- Demonstrated success in leading branch operations and achieving sustained revenue growth.

- Deep channel relationships across retailers, wholesalers, and electricians.

- Strong execution capability; thrives in fast-growing, high-ownership environments.
