- We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Regional Head North to lead and drive business operations across multiple states through an established team of State Heads.
- The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership qualities, a proven track record in channel sales, and deep knowledge of the North Indian market.
- This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving growth, profitability, and operational efficiency in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the sales and business development functions across North India, managing a large team of State Heads, Sales Executives, and Area Managers.
- Develop and execute region-specific go-to-market strategies and sales plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Own the P&L responsibility for the region, including monthly performance reviews, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting (MIS).
- Drive channel sales growth through dealer/distributor network expansion and key account management.
- Ensure collections, dispatches, pricing, and deal closures are aligned with revenue goals.
- Oversee team hiring, training, engagement, and performance management, ensuring high productivity and motivation.
- Plan and implement region-specific sales schemes, trade promotions, and marketing activities in coordination with the central team.
- Foster strong customer relationships and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategy.
Required Qualifications:
- MBA or equivalent post-graduate degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 14 years of experience in Sales & Business Development in the Steel, Cement, or Building Materials industry.
- Strong experience and market exposure in North India is essential.
Must-Have Skills:
- Proven team leadership and man-management capabilities (handling 1015+ direct/indirect reports).
- Expertise in channel sales, strategic planning, and dealer/distributor network management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical, goal-oriented, and decision-making capabilities
