Reports to: National Head / Zonal Head / National Sales Head / Business Head
Job Description:
Business Development:
- Grow the liabilities book (CASA, term deposits, salary accounts) by 25% YoY
- Unlock value from existing client portfolios (e.g., startups, corporates, HNIs)
- Acquire new accounts through strategic partnerships and market outreach
Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor a team of Personal Bankers, Branch Managers, and Relationship Managers
- Drive productivity and performance across branches
- Conduct regular training and performance reviews
Client Engagement:
- Deepen wallet share with existing clients
- Cross-sell banking products: treasury, trade finance, insurance, digital banking
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and corporate clients
Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Collaborate with product, operations, and marketing teams to launch new initiatives
- Analyze market trends and competitor strategies
- Ensure alignment with regional and national business goals
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines and internal audit standards
- Monitor NPAs and overdue portfolios
- Implement cost control and infrastructure maintenance measures
