Role Overview:
The Client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Director to oversee its South India operations. This leadership role combines strategic business development with hands-on operational oversight across multiple hospitality and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will be based in Bangalore and bring strong project governance, client engagement, and team leadership capabilities.
Role Split: Business Development (20%) | Operations (80%)
Key Responsibilities:
Operations (80%):
- Oversee day-to-day execution of 3 active projects across South India
- Ensure timely delivery, quality control, and budget adherence
- Lead cross-functional teams, including project managers, site leads, and vendors
- Resolve operational bottlenecks and escalate critical issues to leadership
- Maintain compliance with client standards, safety norms, and regulatory frameworks
- Conduct regular site visits and performance reviews
Business Development (20%):
- Support client retention and account growth initiatives
- Identify upsell opportunities within existing accounts
- Represent the company in client meetings and industry forums
- Collaborate with leadership on regional expansion strategy
Candidate Profile:
- 12-20 years of experience in project delivery, operations, or regional leadership roles
- Proven track record in managing multi-site projects, preferably in hospitality, infrastructure, or real estate
- Strong client-facing skills and ability to manage senior stakeholder relationships
- Excellent team leadership and conflict resolution abilities
- Familiarity with South India geography and vendor ecosystem
- MBA or equivalent preferred
Preferred Background
- Hospitality groups, EPC firms, or real estate developers
- Regional heads or senior project leaders with multi-site exposure
- Candidates with experience in client account management and operational scale-up
