Regional Category Supply Planning Manager - Chemicals Industry

Key Responsibilities

1. Service Level Improvement

- Improve Volume Service Level (VSL) at depots and distribution centers.

- Enhance Range Service Level (RSL) for top SKUs by maintaining optimal stock-on-hand (>10 days) at depots.

- Increase depot-level fill rates, ensuring alignment with year-end targets.

2. Production Planning & Compliance

- Achieve - 90% production range compliance for assigned product categories.

- Ensure - 90% production priority compliance across all plants.

- Lead adoption and execution of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) for production planning and alignment with demand forecasts.

3. Inventory & Network Optimization

- Maintain inventory levels in line with section-level budgets for assigned categories.

- Implement a dynamic norm-setting process at depots and regional distribution centers to adapt to network changes and monthly demand fluctuations.

- Achieve monthly and quarterly targets for distribution efficiency, including optimized distance traveled.

4. Collaboration & Reporting

- Work closely with plant planners, zonal fulfillment managers, and central demand planning teams to ensure alignment and execution of production and distribution plans.

- Provide regular updates, insights, and reports on service levels, production compliance, and inventory health to the planning lead.

- Support continuous improvement initiatives and enhancements to planning systems and processes.
