Employment Type: Full-time.


A leading multinational vegetable seeds company is seeking an accomplished Regional Business Manager (RBM) to lead and expand its commercial operations across multiple high-potential markets in India.


This role requires a dynamic, growth-driven professional with deep understanding of the vegetable seeds ecosystem, strong dealer/farmer network exposure, and proven experience in managing multi-state business operations.



Key Responsibilities:



- Drive regional business growth, sales planning, and revenue targets across UP, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, HaryanaPunjab, Maharashtra, and Gujarat.



- Develop and implement state-specific go-to-market strategies aligned with company objectives.



- Build and strengthen relationships with channel partners, distributors, retailers, and key farmers.



- Lead, mentor and monitor state-level sales teams to achieve performance KPIs.



- Conduct competitor analysis, market trend assessments, and product positioning activities.



- Coordinate with R&D, Product Management, and Marketing teams for product trials, demos, and new product introductions.



- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for the assigned region.



- Ensure compliance with company policies, credit management, and documentation standards.



Required Qualifications & Experience:



- 7-10 years of experience in the vegetable seeds industry (mandatory).



- Strong knowledge of hybrid vegetable seeds, farmer behavior, market trends, and product performance cycles.



- Proven experience in handling multi-state territories with significant business volume.



- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, develop markets, and deliver growth.



- Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.



- Willingness to travel extensively across assigned states.



- Bachelor's/Masters degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agri-Business Management, or related fields.
