Job Profile: Regional Business Head - South

Location: Bangalore

Reports To: National Head

Role Overview:

- The Regional Head - South will lead the business agenda for the Southern region, driving growth, profitability, and market leadership across categories.


- This role calls for a strategic yet hands-on leader who can translate business vision into strong execution through people, process, and performance excellence.

- This position is responsible for heading the overall business operations (not only sales) for the South Region, providing strategic and operational leadership across key functions - Sales, Supply Chain & Warehousing, Marketing, Finance, HR, and other support functions.


- The incumbent will be accountable for driving regional growth, profitability, operational excellence, and people development, ensuring seamless coordination between corporate strategy and regional execution.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own the P&L for the region, focusing on revenue growth, cost efficiency, and return on investment.

- Lead and deliver regional sales, growth, and profitability objectives in line with annual business plans.

- Drive customer and channel engagement, ensuring market expansion and strengthening brand presence.

- Build and implement regional go-to-market strategies, including new product introductions, distribution effectiveness, and retail excellence initiatives.

- Drive a high-performance culture by developing, mentoring, and empowering regional teams.

- Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and HR to ensure alignment of regional goals with organizational priorities.

- Monitor competitive landscape and consumer insights to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends.

- Ensure compliance, governance, and ethical business practices across all operations.

Key Deliverables:

- Achievement of sales, profitability, and market share targets.

- Successful new product launches and activation programs across key markets.

- Strengthened regional distribution and customer network.

- Development of strong second-line leadership and talent pipeline.

- Effective execution of annual operating budgets and strategic initiatives.

Preferred Background:

- MBA with 12-18 years of experience in Sales and Business Leadership roles across consumer-facing industries.

- Proven track record of managing diverse markets, large teams, and multiple channel formats.

- Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.

- Demonstrated ability to deliver results in fast-paced and evolving business.
