Role Overview:

As the Regional Business Head for Financial Services in Mumbai, you will spearhead the growth and profitability of our financial service offerings within the region. This involves developing and executing strategic plans, managing key client relationships, and leading a high-performing team of financial professionals. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across various departments, including investment banking, wealth management, and corporate finance, to deliver integrated solutions to our clients. Your leadership will directly impact our market share, revenue generation, and client satisfaction within the dynamic Mumbai market.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive regional business strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the financial services sector.

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including corporations, high-net-worth individuals, and institutional investors, to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.

- Lead and mentor a team of financial advisors and relationship managers, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their performance and achieve team goals.

- Oversee the delivery of a wide range of financial services, including corporate finance, wealth management, financial planning, and debt syndication, ensuring high-quality service and compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, and strategic partnerships to expand the client base and generate revenue growth.

- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify potential risks and opportunities and adjust business strategies accordingly.

- Manage the regional P&L, ensuring efficient resource allocation, cost control, and profitability.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product development, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless delivery of financial services and enhance client experience.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful business strategies in the financial services industry, driving revenue growth and market share expansion.

- Proven expertise in key account management, building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients, high-net-worth individuals, and institutional investors.

- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of financial professionals.

- In-depth knowledge of financial products and services, including corporate finance, wealth management, financial planning, fund raising, debt syndication, and financial analysis.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a proven track record of success in business development and leadership roles.
