Position title: Regional Business Head (RBH)

Position Location: Bangalore

Reports to: Senior Vice President - Operations

No. of Reportees: 8 or more direct reports

Job Description: With business strategy and direction, she/he provides leadership to the regional business operations function of the company. The RBH sets the direction and implements business plan, policies and programs for the region. The individual will have complete cross-functional responsibilities, which involves effective strategizing, action planning and implementation guidance for existing and new markets in accordance with enterprise growth and business plans. Under strategic direction, she/he plans, directs, and monitors REVENUE and SERVICE DELIVERY for the region in India for all Business Lines of the company. Plans and directs the activities of the company/region in accordance with objectives and policies established by the Head of Operations and Head of Revenue.

- Responsible for the region's Business and Operational strategy, Market Competitiveness, Revenue and People Success.

- Responsible for the growth and profitability of the company's RETAIL operations and accountable for service delivery of on-site centres. Establishes functional controls for operating efficiency and monitors targeted regional performance.

- She/he will initiate and develop new business opportunities in B2B space (Onsite and Large under writing deals).

- She/he develops and executes strategies and programs to achieve various internal and external business goals (Service quality, Parent experience, Staff Productivity, Process Excellence, Asset Optimization, Corporate relationship etc).

- Regularly participates and interacts with external industry relationships and builds client business brand.

- Owns broader objective of people care responsibilities for the region. Forecasts and manages operating budget, sets functional review schedules and establishes procedures for business continuity and Health and Safety compliance. Sets and provides direction to the team and measures the team's effectiveness.

Education / Workexp:

- Any graduation + MBA.

- Total experience of 15+ years in business operations function.

- Must have worked for a minimum of 3+ years in leading the function at regional level.

- Preferably from service industry domain with P&L experience and strong operational expertise.

- Should have worked in medium to large companies and well understand the complexity of dispersed business network.

- Experience in managing cross-functional teams is preferred.

- Brings with her/him Service and Solution mind set;

- Self driven personality and team player; high personal Quality, Value and Ethics.

- Excellent leadership and people management skills.

- Strong communication skills.

- Ability to drive self and team in ambiguous situations.

- Ability to represent client to external Forums, industry groups etc.
