Region Head - Automotive OEM

Mission:

- Organization Context: The role leads a JV with local partner and organization in India. The JV includes one plant.

- Organization in India includes a small engineering team to lead customer technical interaction and technical execution of the projects, project management team to drive delivery of RFQ and project execution (in time, in quality, economics), staff functions.

- Matrix organization: Engineering and Project Management report solid line to the position, other functions solid to Global Function Head and dotted line to the Region Head.

- Engineering team does not have capacity for full local development, has to resort to support from Technical Development Centers in India and abroad.

- Business Context: business size around 30 M, growth strategy, full P&L responsibility for the JV, accountable for region growth and economics

Requirements:

Professional Attributes:

- Customer Intimacy (required): solid ties with main automotive OEM in India

- JV experience (required)

- Experience in strategy/sales/operations (required)

- Product Knowledge (desirable): display / ECU

- Matrix Organization (desirable): knows how to mobilize resources without direct authority, can create consensus
