Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly analytical and strategic professional to join the MD's Office as Manager - Strategy. The role will work closely with senior leadership and support the Managing Director in driving strategic initiatives, business planning, market analysis, and key corporate projects.

The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in a consulting firm or as part of a Corporate Strategy team within a reputed organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership team on key strategic initiatives.

- Support the development and execution of the company's short-term and long-term business strategy.

- Conduct detailed market research, industry analysis, competitor benchmarking, and business intelligence.

- Evaluate new business opportunities, growth initiatives, partnerships, and expansion strategies.

- Prepare strategic presentations, business reports, investment notes, and management dashboards for senior leadership.

- Analyze business and financial performance and identify key trends, risks, and opportunities.

- Support strategic planning, annual operating plans, and business reviews.

- Coordinate with various business units and functional teams to drive critical strategic projects.

- Track the progress of key initiatives and ensure timely execution.

- Assist in evaluating potential M&A, investments, partnerships, and diversification opportunities, where required.

- Develop structured problem-solving approaches and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.

Candidate Profile:

- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience.

- Experience working with a Consulting Firm or as part of a Corporate Strategy or Business Strategy team is mandatory.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business research skills.

- Excellent proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, financial analysis, and presentation preparation.

- Ability to work independently on complex business problems and strategic initiatives.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and directly support senior leadership.

Preferred Industry Background:

Candidates should have experience in any of the following industries only:

- Renewable Energy

- Power

- Medical or Healthcare

- Pharma

- Oil & Gas (O&G)

- Construction or Infrastructure

- Mining

Candidates from industries other than the above-mentioned sectors will not be considered.

Preferred Qualification:

- MBA or PGDM from a reputed institution.

- Background in Business Strategy, Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, or Business Planning will be preferred.
