Refex Group - Manager - Investor Relations

Job Purpose

The Investor Relations Manager will be responsible for managing communication between the company and its investors, analysts, and other financial stakeholders. The role involves investor communication, financial analysis, MIS reporting, and relationship management to ensure transparent, timely, and effective engagement with the investment community.

Key Responsibilities

1. Investor Communication

- Prepare investor presentations, fact sheets, FAQs, press releases, and other IR communication materials

- Support quarterly earnings calls by coordinating with brokers and call operators

- Assist in Annual Report preparation including design coordination, content creation, and data collation

- Support top management during investor conferences, analyst meets, and roadshows

2. Financial Analysis & MIS

- Analyze financial data, business performance trends, and market sentiment

- Prepare reports on investor feedback and market reactions

Develop and maintain MIS for the Investor Relations function, including:

- Stock price movements

- Shareholding pattern analysis

- Major buyers and sellers

- Conduct peer set analysis to track financial and non-financial performance of comparable companies

3. Relationship Management

- Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, analysts, and institutional shareholders

- Coordinate with external stakeholders including investment bankers, legal advisors, IR consultants, Annual Report agencies, and PR agencies

- Liaise with internal teams such as Finance, Accounts, Company Secretary, CFO, CEOs, and Corporate Communications/PR teams on IR-related activities

- Organize and coordinate plant visits for analysts and investors.

Key Skills & Competencies

- Strong financial analysis and financial modelling skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation abilities

- Proven relationship-building and networking skills

- High attention to detail with strong organizational and coordination capabilities

Ideal Candidate Profile

- MBA (Finance) / CFA qualification

- 5-7 years of experience in Investor Relations, Finance, or a related field

- Prior experience working with listed companies or handling investor interactions in pharma sector, will be an advantage.
