



Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead contractual engagements and Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) execution for road and highway projects. The role focuses on establishing strategic partnerships with thermal power plants, contractors, and concessionaires to drive large-scale utilization of fly ash in infrastructure development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the identification, negotiation, and execution of MOUs with:
- Thermal power plants (including public and private sector)
- Road and highway contractors
- Concessionaires and infrastructure developers
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across:
- Government and private thermal power producers
- EPC contractors and road construction companies
- Highway concessionaires and PPP operators
- Drive business development initiatives to secure long-term contracts for fly ash utilization in road and highway construction projects
- Build and leverage an extensive industry network/database of:
- Road and highway contractors
- Concessionaires
- Organizations such as NTPC and private power plants
- Monitor upcoming infrastructure projects and proactively position the company for MOU opportunities
- Lead commercial negotiations, contract structuring, and closure of high-value agreements
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to fly ash usage and environmental norms
- Coordinate with internal teams (legal, operations, logistics) for seamless execution of contracts
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and policy changes impacting fly ash utilization
Key Requirements
15+ years of experience in contracts, business development, or commercial roles within:
- Road and highway construction
- Infrastructure development
- Thermal power or related sectors
Proven track record of successfully securing MOUs/contracts with:
- Thermal power plants
- Road contractors and concessionaires
- Strong network and relationships with:
- Highway contractors and EPC companies
- Concessionaires and BOT/PPP operators
- Public sector entities such as NTPC and private power producers
In-depth understanding of:
- Fly ash utilization policies and regulations
- Road and highway project lifecycle
- Contract structuring and negotiation
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive revenue growth
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- MBA or equivalent qualification is an added advantage
Important Note:
- Experience in signing MOU's with Road and Highways concession contractors and builders is must.
- Should have good database of Thermal Power Plants and road and highway concessioners.
