



Job Summary:
We are looking for a seasoned professional with strong techno-commercial expertise and deep knowledge of Ash Handling Plant (AHP) operations in thermal power plants. The role will be responsible for driving new business, managing tenders and bids, overseeing costing, and ensuring efficient O&M across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. New Business Acquisition
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in AHP O&M and project execution.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to assess project requirements.
- Support business expansion strategies and market intelligence activities.
2. Tendering & Bids
- Lead end-to-end tendering and bidding processes for AHP projects.
- Analyze tender documents, technical specifications, and commercial terms.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to prepare competitive and compliant bids.
- Ensure timely submission of tenders with complete documentation.
3. Costing & Commercial
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, project budgets, and financial models.
- Evaluate project viability, margins, and risk factors.
- Handle techno-commercial negotiations with clients and vendors.
- Monitor project costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
4. Operations & Maintenance (O&M)
- Oversee end-to-end O&M of Ash Handling Plants in thermal power plants.
- Ensure high plant availability, efficiency, and reliability.
- Manage multiple projects and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Plan and manage spare parts inventory and maintenance schedules.
- Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and environmental regulations.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to site teams.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in AHP O&M within thermal power plants.
- Strong technical knowledge of complete AHP systems.
- Proven experience in business development, tendering, bidding, and costing.
- Experience in handling multiple projects and teams.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with large-capacity thermal power plants.
- Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
