



Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and high-potential Chief of Staff - Strategy & Operations to work directly with the Founder & Managing Director. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role designed for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys problem-solving, and has a passion for strategic thinking and execution excellence.
The role offers a unique opportunity to drive strategic initiatives, enhance operational efficiency, and support enterprise-wide business growth. The ideal candidate will come with a strong foundation in strategy consulting, business planning, or operations management, with sharp analytical skills and a keen understanding of financial drivers.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Planning
- Partner with the Founder & MD on key strategic decisions, business planning, and long-term growth initiatives.
- Lead and support strategic projects across business units - from conceptualization to implementation.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and feasibility studies for new business opportunities and expansion strategies.
- Track industry trends, macroeconomic factors, and internal business performance to inform decision-making.
Operational Excellence
- Identify operational inefficiencies and propose data-backed solutions for improvement across functions.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Assist in building scalable systems, processes, and frameworks to support rapid growth.
Executive Enablement
- Act as the bridge between the Founder/MD and business heads - ensuring communication clarity, follow-through, and accountability.
- Prepare board presentations, investor briefs, business reviews, and performance dashboards.
- Represent the office of the MD in internal meetings or external engagements, as required.
Business & Financial Insight
- Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes with business insights.
- Collaborate with finance and strategy teams to monitor key business metrics and drive profitability.
Candidate Profile:
- Education: MBA from IIMs (Indian Institutes of Management) - mandatory with BE or B.Tech from IIT or NIT.
- Experience: 5 - 10 years of total experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, business planning, or operations leadership roles.
- Analytical Thinker: Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.
- High Ownership: Self-starter with the ability to work independently and drive outcomes.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with senior leadership.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication; experience in high-quality business documentation and presentations.
- Agility: Comfortable with ambiguity, multitasking, and working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
- Willingness to work from Chennai and travel occasionally as per business needs
