Refex Group - Assistant Manager - Projects

We are currently looking for Assistant Manager - Projects professional

Roles and responsibilities:

- Coordinate and monitor the status of people, processes, and materials across multiple customer wind turbine projects.

- Manage inter-project material planning and allocation (e.g., identify unused components at one customer site and reassign to another as needed).

- Track delivery timelines, site readiness, and installation schedules to ensure smooth project execution.

- Work closely with manufacturing, logistics, site teams, and customer project managers to align dependencies and resolve bottlenecks.

- Maintain real-time visibility of inventory (at plant, in transit, and at customer sites) and proactively identify optimization opportunities.

- Flag risks and delays and coordinate cross-functional responses.

- Ensure documentation and status reporting is updated and shared with stakeholders regularly.

- Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and SCM teams to resolve technical issues related to component readiness and project compatibility.

Qualifications:

- Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Industrial Management. It is preferred.

- MBA or PG in Operations Management (preferred)

- Experience in renewable energy, wind turbine, or heavy engineering industries is a strong plus.

Technical skills:

- Strong understanding of wind turbine components and project lifecycle

- Experience in project coordination, especially across multiple customer sites

- Proficient in MS Excel, ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and project tracking tools

- Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, and material management .

Soft skills:

-Strong cross-functional coordination and communication

- Proactive problem-solver with attention to detail

- Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks/projects

- High ownership and customer-centric mindset

- Analytical thinking and structured reporting
