



Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manager - Tender (Mining) to lead preparation and submission of tenders for mining and MDO projects. The candidate will play a key role in project costing, tender documentation, equipment selection, and overall bid strategy while ensuring compliance with technical, commercial, and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end tendering process for mining and MDO projects
- Prepare pre-bid documentation, technical and commercial proposals
- Conduct mine project costing, cost sheet preparation, and pricing analysis
- Evaluate equipment requirements, selection, and deployment planning
- Analyze tender wins/losses and recommend improvements for future bids
- Coordinate with operations, finance, and legal teams for accurate bid submission
- Maintain tender database, MIS, and reports for management review
- Monitor market trends, competitor bids, and regulatory requirements
- Develop strategic roadmap for upcoming tenders and business opportunities
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong experience in tendering and bid management for mining / MDO projects
- Expertise in project costing, cost sheet preparation, and commercial evaluation
- Knowledge of mining operations, equipment, and logistics
- Ability to analyze tender outcomes and formulate future tender strategy
- Excellent coordination, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Detail-oriented with ability to work under strict deadlines and manage multiple tenders simultaneously
Preferred Profile
- Graduate degree in Mining, Mechanical, Civil, or relevant engineering discipline, MBA / Finance background is a plus
- 8 to 15 years of experience in tender management for mining projects, preferably with MDO (Mine Developer & Operator) exposure
- Candidates with prior experience in coal, mineral, or bulk material mining projects
- Hands-on experience in MDO projects, mining operations, and equipment deployment planning
- Familiarity with government and private tender processes
- Strong cross-functional coordination with operations, finance, and legal teams
