



Role Overview
The Strategy Manager will work closely with the CMD to drive group-level and business-level strategy, operational excellence, and long-term value creation. This is a high-impact role involving strategic planning, performance improvement, M&A evaluation, and execution support across multiple businesses within the Group.
The role requires a strong strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution capability and exposure to senior leadership decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the CMD to define and drive short-term and long-term strategic priorities for the Group and its businesses
- Lead strategy formulation, business planning, and execution tracking across operating units
- Drive operational strategy initiatives to improve efficiency, profitability, and scalability
- Support M&A, investments, and strategic partnerships, including:
- Market and target evaluation
- Synergy assessment
- Financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence support
- Develop robust financial models, business cases, and scenario analyses to support key decisions
- Conduct market, industry, and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and risks
- Work with cross-functional and business leadership teams to ensure effective strategy execution
- Prepare high-quality presentations and reports for CMD, Board, and senior stakeholders
- Track performance against strategic KPIs and drive course corrections where required
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in strategy and operations
- Currently working with top-tier consulting firms only (e.g., MBB, Tier-1 strategy/management consulting firms)
- Strong exposure to corporate strategy, business strategy, M&A, and financial modeling
- Experience working directly with CXO / Board-level stakeholders preferred
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mandatory)
- Post-Graduate degree from IIM (PGDM / MBA - mandatory)
