



Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Manager - O&M Spares to drive business growth for Ash Handling Plant spares and services across multiple thermal power plants in the South region. The role involves leveraging a strong database of power plants, technical knowledge of AHP equipment, and expertise in spares sales and operations to expand service offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and target thermal power plants for O&M spares sales of pumps, valves, motors, conveyors, and other AHP spares
- Develop and maintain a strong customer database and relationship network across South India
- Drive business development initiatives, commercial proposals, and spares supply contracts
- Provide technical inputs on AHP spares, specifications, and maintenance requirements
- Monitor and ensure timely delivery of spares and services to customers
- Liaise with operations, procurement, and logistics teams for smooth execution of orders
- Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and pricing strategies
- Develop strategic plans for increasing O&M spares business and revenue growth
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong network with thermal power plants in the South region
- In-depth knowledge of Ash Handling Plant spares - pumps, motors, valves, conveyors, and related equipment
- Experience in B2B sales, business development, and technical solution selling
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Ability to coordinate with operations, procurement, and service teams
- Results-driven with strong analytical and commercial acumen
Preferred Profile
- Graduate degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering or relevant discipline
- 5 to 10 years of experience in O&M spares sales, business development, or technical operations for Ash Handling Plant (AHP) or thermal power plants
- Candidates with prior experience in thermal power plant O&M, AHP spares sales, or EPC/O&M services
- Hands-on knowledge of ash handling plant systems, maintenance requirements, and operational challenges
- Experience in managing multiple customer accounts and driving regional business growth
