- Ensuring all Statutory Compliances such as payments, returns, assessment under Indirect taxes, preparation of periodical tax budgets and MIS report on Indirect Tax related matters. - Vetting purchase orders raised by the company advising on the probable exposure w.r.t applicable indirect taxes. - Working with external councils and liaising with Revenue authorities to expedite the closure of open taxes. - Regularly updating the Company on day-to-day changes in Indirect Tax Laws, regulations, rulings, procedures and court decisions. - Appearing before GST Authorities for assessment, addressing queries/disputes with the Revenue Authorities. Ensuring adherence to operational guidelines laid down in tax manuals, interfacing with various functional departments for proper documentation. - Coordinating with consultant for Litigation/Advisory matters. Replying to ASMT-10/Show Cause Notices, Advising the company on Tax Planning issues, highlighting on probable exposure towards applicable indirect taxes and advising on the eligibility of Input Tax Credit and refunds, if any. - Handling Indirect Tax. Note: Should be a qualified CA and hold 2-4 years of experience post qualification.
