JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title - Project Lead Business Process Management Group (BPMG) Department - Branch & Business Banking (BBB) Grade- Sr. Manager / AVP Location - Mumbai (Western Line) Reporting To - Head BPMG A. POSITION PURPOSE Process management initiatives embedment &amp; execution in Retail Liabilities Business &amp; other Functional Units across the Bank. Primary Purposes: - Create and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Retail Liabilities Business and Operations - End-to-End Project Management &amp; Ownership of projects related to Bank Vision, Strategy, Business/Service/Operations Excellence, Cost Management, Operational Risks, IT, Channels and other related areas. - Actively engage with Units Heads &amp; Stakeholders to understand requirements, provide dynamic solutions and lead project execution. B. KEY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Sr. Key Responsibilities 1. Creation &amp; Review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ongoing monitoring of Processes, Systems &amp; Controls to ensure Continuous Improvement 2. Identify and execute end-to-end Improvement projects across Retail Liabilities Business &amp; Operations with regular interaction stakeholders and deliver expected results. 3. Provide superior solution development through detailed analysis, identification of alternate delivery mechanisms and recommendation of preferred Lean Six-Sigma approaches 4. Review and close all Audit/Risk/Compliance observations related to Biz. /Operations processes. Implement process changes basis these observations 5. Ensure benefit delivery as per financial and non-financial targets in individual and managed projects through effective implementation and change management 6. Manage stakeholder relationships and propagate the use of the Performance Excellence Tools, Techniques, Methodologies, Frameworks &amp; Practices 7. Work with Units to build Tracking Systems, Scorecards, MIS &amp; Ops Controls for Service, Quality, Efficiency, Productivity, Cost, Customer Service &amp; other metrics 8. Any other activity related to Project Completion with expected solutions C. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT Qualifications - Essential MBA and/or CA or Graduate with additional relevant experience - Preferred Lean Six Sigma Certification, JAIIB/CAIIB Experience - Essential Min. 8 years with at least 4 years in Banking Process Re-engineering - Preferred Experience in Banking Process &amp; IT Improvement Projects - Project analysis and delivery excellence in a banking change environment - Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills - Background in Banking across a few functional areas in the Services/Ops functions D.
